A new WKF event was presented during the WKF Working Breakfast which was afterwards approved by the WKF EC. The WKF Children World Camp will take place for the first tie in the summer of 2008, in a location in Central Europe.

More than 3000 young katateka (10-12 and 12-14 years old) will be invited to participate in a training camp under the instructions of top karate trainers. During the weekend following the World Camp a World Cup will take place.

The trainers will select the participants from the several countries who will compete under rules specially drafted for children.
